Wait and watch. The world will move around you if you stand still.
In this series I want to heighten the experience of viewing by presenting the work in multiple images. Three different moments of the same view form each individual piece in this grouping. When I started this series about people moving through public spaces, I naturally imagined a single shot per piece, but found myself more interested in the how the scene changed before me.
Each instance shows people moving through or interacting in public spaces. On first glance we see the obvious similarity of place, the buildings, bridges, sidewalks. On further inspection we are drawn in to examine the differences, the moving people, birds, clouds.
This is a series about everyday life. It is about the space between the landscape and it's occupants, with us as voyeurs.
